Adorable and funny

Hilarious book about a young monster having trouble going to sleep because he is afraid of the child under his bed. Written in verse, the book goes though all the situations where the frightened creature asks the mom not to leave, or to hold his hand. He explains why children are scary "They have two eyes. That really freaks me out. And when they stare at me at night, it makes me want to shout." Nathaniel takes childhood fears and turns the idea on it's head, taking the sting of the unknown with her humorous poem enabling a child to put his or her fears in the right perspective. Adorable and funny, this is a creative bedtime read.

Happy Reading!
