A trip to Egypt filled with mystery and mayhem for the YA

Really great read for YA audience. Filled with adventure, suspense, a 4500 year old mystery, this a a wonderful story that will keep even the most jaded reader riveted. Laura Deluca has a terrific way with dialog, nailing the various voices whether they are an ancient pharaoh or a contemporary teen. Julie Gerber finds herself reluctantly thrown into an archaeological dig searching for a lost king of Egypt. Along the way, she will embrace the mystery, and make unusual friends to say the least. The book reads like a movie, the plot twists and turns revealing ancient curses, murder, and finally blood thirsty vampires. In a nutshell, there is something here for everyone!

Happy Reading!
